Jonathan Kim, JD, MBA
Jonathan has provided legal and financial advice to clients in both the U.S. and Europe for over eleven years. He began his career with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, DC in their Criminal Tax Division. Subsequently, he worked in New York with Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts (n/k/a Pillsbury Winthrop, LLC) and in London in a variety of financial advisory capacities. He is admitted to the bars of Connecticut, the District of Columbia and New York, as well as the federal bars for the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York, and holds Series 7 and 66 NASD securities registrations and Life and Health Insurance licenses in New York and Connecticut.
He received his BA from Brown University and currently serves as co-president of the Brown Club of New York City. He received his MBA in finance from Yale University, where he served as a research assistant to the dean, and his JD from Georgetown University, where he served as an editor and published author for the Tax Lawyer, the American Bar Association's journal of taxation.
Stephen J. Cuchel, DDS
Stephen J. Cuchel is Chairman of the Board, Co-Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Healthplex, Inc. as well as a Director of International Healthcare Services, Inc. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Dental Plans, Dental Director for the United States Life Insurance Company and Dental Consultant to the New York State Troopers as well as for many other national and international organizations. He is President of the American Dental Research Foundation, an Associate Professor at New York University College of Dentistry and a guest lecturer at C.W. Post Long Island University and Georgetown University as well as for the International Foundation of Employee Benefits. He is a member of the 9th District Dental Society of the American Dental Association, and the North Eastern Conference of Health Welfare and Pension Plans. He is also a past member of the Governing Board of Directors of the New York State Health Systems Agency for Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Dr. Cuchel received a Bachelor of Science degree from Union College and a D.D.S. from New York University. He has also completed post graduate training at New York Institute of Clinical Oral Pathology, and a residency at Long Island College Hospital in Anesthesiology and Dentistry for Handicapped Children.
Craig P. Summers, MD, FAAP
Craig Summers has been in private practice in Hamden for the past twenty years as Managing Partner and founder of Children’s Medical Group, an 8-practitioner practice. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Yale University School of Medicine and School of Nursing. Dr Summers has served on the Board of Directors of the Yale New Haven IPA since 1996 and has chaired the Contracts Committee for the Yale IPA since 2001. He is on the Board of Directors of The Physicians Corporation a New Haven based community IPA since 1992 where he also serves as the Treasurer. He has served on the Anthem Statewide Primary Care Council since 1998, and participates in an ongoing joint committee of Yale Pediatrics and Community Physicians. Dr Summers completed the Yale Management Program for Physicians offered by the Yale Schools of Medicine, Management, and Public Health.
Dr. Summers received his M.D. degree cum laude from the State University of New York/Syracuse. He completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics at Yale New Haven Hospital, and was Chief Resident at the Hospital of St. Raphael’s.
Alvin Hershfeld, DO
Alvin Hershfeld has been in private practice in family medicine for over 30 years. He served as the assistant clinical professor of family medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and recently has been training residents at Peninsular Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York.
Dr. Hershfeld graduated from Tufts University with degrees in Biology and Chemistry, and received his D.O. degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Jay's focus is on finding solutions to problems and applying process to solve them. His goal is to train clients and employees in the skills to manage the process. Jay's various projects include E-commerce, XML, VPN work, security audit, workflow process, Windows training, and Windows 2000 enterprise designs and installs. He works with Internet providers on infrastructure designs and security. Jay has managed development and implementation of E-commerce web sites and hosting facilities. Customers include Toys-R-Us, AT&T, Private.com, Philips Lighting, Bookbundle, Lillian Vernon, Sports Illustrated, Red Rocket, Mountain Gear, Play Co., Beavex, and others.
Jay holds certifications in Certified Web Master, Cisco, FCC Amateur Radio License N4GAA (extra class), IBM, ICS2 CISSP, Internet Web Master Certified Profession, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Microsoft "Charter Member 2000", MCSE, Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Approved Train the Trainer, Novell, Real World Security Authorized Instructor, and WSO-CSSD.
Jay has taught at Miami Dade Community college, and at Baruch College; has been a speaker at Comdex, Tech Forum Managers meetings, user groups across the country, Future Forum 2000, Corporate Advisory Board, and CTEXPO. Jay has been quoted in trade magazines like PC Week, CRN, and Cnet, and has been a Red Cross trainer and Volunteer for over 35 years. He is currently involved as a leadership Volunteer with The American Red Cross as Staff Partner for Disaster Communications.
